Bono is probably among the most famous rock stars in the world and among those that make more money (by the way this few lines do not mean that I am a fan of Bono. I like his music, I am not sure about the rest).
Yesterday, Bono made more money than in 30 years of career combined. You might think that he release some sort of U2 ultimate platinum collection or something like that. Not at all.
So how did it happen? Very simple, he owns 2.3 percent of Facebook. And after Facebook went public yesterday, that is worth more than all of his previous stuff over 30 years on top of the music world (which is also a rich field I thought).
The Financial world is weird… By the way Facebook is also worth more than the annual GDP of countries like Morocco or Vietnam, and that just adds to the craziness…
